Vic Crombie

Vic began her Yoga journey over 25 years ago when she started attending regular Hatha Yoga classes with her mum. Before qualifying as a yoga teacher in 2012, Vic originally trained as a scientist working in cancer research. Enjoying her volunteer work more than her day job Vic went on to complete a Masters in Health Promotion, and worked within the Youth and Community Service designing and delivering health and wellbeing programs to young people in the UK. Seeing the potential that yoga and mindfulness has on enhancing the well-being of young people Vic went on to study and train in mindfulness with Dr Craig Hassed (Australia), the Mindfulness in Schools Project (UK), and Mindful Schools (USA).

Vic has taught yoga and mindfulness to thousands of children and adolescents in the over 10 years she has been teaching in schools and community settings and continues to offer evidence-based programs in schools, teacher training and professional development for school teachers and yoga teachers, as well as mindfulness-based well-being programs for children, teens, parents and educators.

Vic also offers yoga retreats and workshops, creating a warm friendly environment with classes focusing on developing strength, flexibility and a deeper connection between mind, body and spirit. Her meditation classes and workshops enable students to develop a meditation practice to steady the mind, find clarity and reduce feelings of stress and overwhelm. And she runs regular Women’s Circles facilitating the creation of a sacred, supportive and healing space to explore heart centred themes and honour the divine feminine within.

Vic is also a Reiki master and often includes energy healing practices within her work to enhance wellbeing.
